  • WHAT TO BRING

Kid-Possible will provide everything needed for our fun camp activities unless otherwise specified. On a daily basis, please just send your camper with lunch, unless the catered lunch option has been reserved. We plan all outdoor games prior to the heat of the day, but we suggest applying sunscreen in the morning and sending your child to camp with spray sunscreen with reapplication instructions for the counselors if necessary.

Examples of special event items that will occasionally be required include towels and change of clothes for water days, paint shirt for some art activities, costumes and accessories for Talent Show days (optional), etc.

What NOT to bring to camp: Please do not send campers with any type of technology including, but not limited to: cell phones, handheld devices like Nintendo DS or iPads, MP3 players, etc. Kid-Possible is not responsible for these devices, and there will be ample games available to campers during any downtime. If there is an emergency, campers may use the camp phone at any time.

  • AGE RANGE OF CAMPERS

Kid-Possible caters to boys and girls ages 5 to 12 years old.

  • FIELD TRIPS & ACTIVITIES

Our field trips are an important part of the Kid-Possible difference. We have a mixture of on-site and off-site field trip activities throughout the summer. On our off-site field trip weeks, campers and staff will take air-conditioned buses with restroom access, in light of the Louisiana heat and the needs of our young campers. Our field trip destinations are varied, enriching, and exciting for campers. For our onsite field trip activities, we have visitors from around Baton Rouge and Louisiana come onsite for a variety of activities. Check our calendar for the field trip schedule.

  • LUNCHES & SNACKS

Campers will need to bring their lunch each day of camp, we do have a microwave available for their use and our staff is happy to help warm up their lunch. We ask that parents label lunch boxes with each camper’s first and last name. We also have a catered lunch option. This summer we have partnered with SBD Catering for a variety of catering each week. Some examples of catering meals include red beans and rice, chicken tenders, tacos, pizza, and more! The catering menu is sent out the Monday before each week of camp for families to review. You have until Wednesday of each week to add catering to your registration. The cost of weekly catering is $35 per week.

Kid-Possible will provide a healthy snack for all campers each morning and afternoon.

  • CLOTHING & DRESS POLICY

Your camp registration fee includes two (2) Kid-Possible camp shirts. Kid-Possible prides itself on offering the highest quality camp experience, and as such, our camp shirts will be high-quality athletic wear for the most comfortable camp experience. Additional shirts are available for purchase at camp for $12 per shirt.

Kid-Possible camp shirts are required to be worn every day, as well as closed-toe shoes–preferably athletic–in order to ensure safety in daily activities.

On days involving water play, we ask that campers come with their swimsuits on underneath their camp outfit. For easy bathroom access, younger campers should wear two-piece suits. We do require all campers to wear their official Kid-Possible shirts in the water so make sure to pack an additional camp shirt, beach towel and underclothes with your camper on these days. All items should be labeled with your camper’s name.

  • SAFETY POLICIES & INFO

Kid-Possible operates with the highest health, safety, and security standards for its campers. In this vein, all staff will be background checked and trained in a variety of health and safety techniques. If you have any concerns about the safety of your camper, please don’t hesitate to contact us so we can work through this issue together.
